Forex Analysis for Thursday 3rd August 2017
As reportesd yesterday, GBP Construction PMI missed (51.9 vs 54.3).
The USD was little moved, although down on the session. The story on equities globally was of a gap up followed by a move down, although the Dow30 went through 22,000 before closing slightly below that level. The US 10 Year yield was up slightly, while being down on the week. The EUR moved up nicely as did the GBP for the eight consecutive day. The JPY weakened slightly. The AUD moves down this morning on poor Trade Balance and a miss in China Caixin Services PMI. This dragged the NZD down with it.
Nothing of great note.
GBP Services PMI; GBP BOE Super Thursday.
