Daily Alert – Tues 7th Jan: Markets stay calm; RBA to cut rates due to bushfires? AUD drops.

It’s all a bit calm as Iran trash talks the US. Yesterday ended up being slightly risk-on but today was slightly risk-off.

There is talk of the Reserve Bank of Australia having to cut rates due to the economic damage done and being done by the bushfires in the south-east of the country. The AUD falls significantly.

US equities are moving sideways, as are almost all the other equity indices, so I await a pullback or a significant upwards break.

Hope to see you tomorrow at the webinar – 7pm.
