Weekly Review: Friday 22nd March 2019

A bad end to a poor week. Manufacturing PMI numbers in the EuroZone turn sentiment negative leaving the EUR and global equities down on fears of a global slowdown. This sentiment was already in the air after the very dovish Fed on Friday.

Equities hardly moved all week. My three FX trends I was hoping to jump on all decided to reverse this week, leading to no opportunity.

My only trade, FTSE100 long, was taken out for breakeven. I consider this to be good trading. When your plan does not materialise, getting out of the week at breakeven is a result. There are many who would trade anyway, and take a hit. Still around 16% up YTD.

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on Monday.
